The only private art storage facility in Brazil with international standards of security and climate control, Clé Chenue do Brasil was chosen as one of the experiences included in a technical visit by the class of the MBA in Museum Management and Innovation. The course is run by the Associação Brasileira de Gestão Cultural in partnership with Expomus, Unimais and the Museu da Língua Portuguesa, with in-person classes in São Paulo.
The technical visit to Clé Chenue was part of the module on Risk Management and Security in Museums. In addition to learning about the Clé Chenue project and seeing rooms authorised by clients, the class had a full lesson at our facilities, including a presentation and discussion of several examples of art storage facilities in other countries.
The visit also included practical activities, such as the challenge of listing all the technical and logistical issues involved in storing an art collection at Clé Chenue. One of the course's goals is precisely to strengthen the culture of heritage security in museums, and Clé Chenue follows museum standards, so much so that its clients include some of the country's leading art museums.
The MBA in Museum Management and Innovation is a postgraduate course aimed at executive training focused on the management, planning and economic sustainability of museums.
