Art Basel Paris, one of the largest art fairs in the world, occupied the Grand Palais, in the French capital, from October 18 to 20, 2024, bringing together 195 art galleries from every continent, including the Brazilian galleries A Gentil Carioca, Luisa Strina and Nara Roesler. With thousands of works of art on display, the logistics of an event like this is a show in itself.
Part of this work fell to LP Art, a company in the same international group as Clé Chenue do Brasil. It was the company chosen by 20 gallerists taking part in Art Basel Paris to transport their collections to the fair venue. In all, LP Art collected, packed and transported 550 pieces, an operation that required mobilizing 10 trucks and fifteen employees, plus 50 installers who worked in shifts so that everything was ready for the opening.
With more than 30 years of experience, LP Art is headquartered in France and operates worldwide through an international network of partners. In addition to transport, the company builds made-to-measure crates and provides installation, storage, handling and advisory services for the temporary import and export of works of art.
