The service of storing and handling fine art logistics is so specialized that Chenue, the French shareholder in Clé Chenue do Brasil, recently opened its own school to train the teams that carry out these activities: EILOA, the École Internationale de Logistique des Œuvres d'Art. It is the first institution in the world created for this purpose.
What EILOA teaches
EILOA offers training in the handling and packing of works of art in varied formats and materials, the organization involved in the international movement of exhibitions, and the management of complex logistics. The institution also maintains LabEILOA, a research and study laboratory for techniques and materials aimed at developing sustainable processes for the sector.
The training in Brazil
Since July, EILOA has been conducting training in Brazil with the teams of Clé Chenue do Brasil, a company based in São Paulo, in the packing and transport of works and collections. One of the main points of the training was the interaction with other professionals involved in handling the collection: how to conduct oneself and support every stage of the works' arrival at their destination, including unpacking and the ritual of checking the condition reports.
Clé Chenue do Brasil offers complete, customized solutions for fine art logistics throughout Brazil. Talk to one of our specialists about the right service for your needs.
