Commemorative show for Di Cavalcanti's 125th anniversary at Farol Santander São Paulo, curated by Denise Mattar. It brought together around 30 rare works from private collections, including the previously unseen painting Carnaval (1929/1930). Clé Chenue do Brasil handled collection across several states and transport.
The logistics operation
Clé Chenue do Brasil built specialised crates, collected works across several Brazilian states and handled road transport to São Paulo, as well as the return of the pieces at the end of the season.
About the show
The exhibition "Di Cavalcanti: 125 anos" ran at Farol Santander São Paulo from 12 October 2023 to 7 January 2024. Curated by Denise Mattar, the show brought together around 30 rare works from private collections, including oils on canvas, watercolours and the print album edited by Monteiro Lobato. A highlight was the first-ever showing in Brazil of the painting Carnaval (1929/1930), which had spent decades in Europe.
