About the show
The exhibition "Entre a cabeça e a terra: traditional African textile art" was on view at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo (Pina Luz) from 31 August 2024 to 2 February 2025. Held in collaboration with the Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation (Cameroon) and Maison Gacha (France), it presented the knowledge, stories and traditions of textile art from the African continent, with rare pieces and fabrics never previously exhibited in Brazil. Curated by Renato Menezes and Danilo Lovisi.
