About the show
The Afro-Atlantic Histories exhibition concluded its acclaimed US tour at the Dallas Museum of Art, where it was on view from 22 October 2023 to 11 February 2024. Originally staged in 2018 by the MASP and the Instituto Tomie Ohtake, the show explores the historical and contemporary parallels of the transatlantic slave trade and its legacies in the African Diaspora, with around 100 works and documents spanning the 17th century to the present.
