The largest solo show by Ceará-born artist Leonilson at the Pinacoteca do Ceará, bringing together 245 works including paintings, drawings, installations and embroidery. Clé Chenue do Brasil handled nationwide collection and transport logistics.
The logistics operation
Clé Chenue do Brasil built specialised crates, collected works across several Brazilian states and handled transport to Fortaleza, as well as the return of the pieces at the end of the season.
About the show
The Pinacoteca do Ceará in Fortaleza hosted, from December 2023 to May 2024, the major solo exhibition of Leonilson, bringing together 245 works by the Ceará-born artist in partnership with the Projeto Leonilson. The collection included paintings, drawings, installations, embroidery and previously unseen works. The show placed Leonilson's art in dialogue with pieces by contemporary artists and friends from Ceará, such as Karim Aïnouz, Luiz Hermano and Zé Tarcísio. Curated by Ricardo Resende and Aline Albuquerque.
